Alfred Carter IV is an actor and a writer. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a former Division I college athlete who got into the film industry after graduating from college. Alfred gained SAG eligibility early in his acting career after booking his first audition as a stunt actor in “Lee Daniels’ The Butler”. He also worked on “When the Game Stands Tall”, also as a stunt actor, he worked on the set for over two months where he gained invaluable knowledge and experience.
A few months after wrapping on “When the Game Stands Tall” Alfred was in a tragic car accident. His life changed forever he was critically injured and remained in the ICU for almost two weeks. His younger brother and best friend Andrew, passed away from injuries sustained. Alfred took a step back to refocus and find himself, and during this process he felt called to missionary work.
After serving two years as a missionary Alfred moved to Arizona and started taking classes at Dearing Acting Studio. One month later he was signed to The Leighton Agency. Since signing with The Leighton Agency in 2019 Alfred has booked voiceover work, commercials, and an international advertising campaign. Although he has found success in the Arizona market as a commercial actor he has his sights on acting for TV and film and feels that his life’s experiences have prepared him to bring any character to life.
Alfred also has a passion for music. He recently founded The C.F.T. Music Group, a record label focused on making great music with a positive impact. He is also working on a feature length screenplay about the life of a college athlete who is faced with a tough moral decision in the face of adversity.
When Alfred isn’t working he enjoys spending time outdoors, going for hikes, creating music, and spending time with his family.
